A little more about mark…

Mark attended Cal Poly SLO with a major in Crop Science but left after a couple years to return to Imperial Valley to help his father, David, who is was in the hay business.  After working for his dad, he continued to work for many local farmers as a general laborer; working in hay production, cutting, raking, baling, and eventually becoming a foreman for local growers.  From there, he moved on to become an irrigation foreman in the early 1980’s.  Mark has grown various crops:  lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cotton, alfalfa, and various other crops.  In 1990 he began working for Allyn Scheu where he found his love of growing citrus that is still strong today.
